Ermitage Bel Air Medical Hotel is the best Italian hotel for guests with motor deficits or disabilities. On October 11th last, the hotel-spa resort in the Euganean Hills managed by the Maggia family was awarded the Mobility first prize at the Hospitality Day held at Rimini TTG, within the context of the Village for All Awards. This prestigious prize rewards years of passionate professional commitment in this particular sector and was awarded to Mr Marco Maggia, owner of the Ermitage Hotel, and to his Front Desk Manager, Ms Michela Selmin.

THE BRAND

V4All is the leading Italian quality brand in the identification of fully accessible tourism and hospitality structures that are able to guarantee a tourist offer and experience truly for everyone. After a decade spent in the identification and certification of accessible structures in Italy, and after publishing the most complete Italian Guidebook of Accessible Tourism, this year V4All decided to reward excellence in Italy in this sector. The Village for All Awards were given to structures in the Village for All product club that were most active in the structural improvement of their hotel, in the training of their employees and collaborators, in the enhancement of accessibility-focused services and communication systems.

AWARDS

The awards are divided into macro-categories and concern hotels, holiday villages and camping sites, as well as non-hospitality structures. The choice of winners was made based on merit, using a complex score assessment system managed by a patented software that records the structures in the circuit and allows Village for All to remain the uncontested leader in this sector. The accessibility market is currently offering the hospitality sector significant growth and development margins. “This award” commented Mr Marco Maggia, “was a very pleasant surprise for us. It is an important acknowledgement of our work of the last few years to make Ermitage Bel Air Medical Hotel a truly accessible structure for everybody. Being considered a structure of superior quality in Italy in this socially important sector honours us and encourages us to improve the quality of our offer further, so as to be always able to ensure that all our guests, whether or not they have motor deficits or disabilities, shall receive the welcome and care that they deserve and that makes us proud.”.
